Did you get much of a chance this summer and fall to use the kick boat, if so please pass on your comments and any photos
Yes, I did. Just one trip to a lake called Panther. I was away most of the summer. But it was great on lake I think I will buy some flippers to move around lake caught 8 wild rainbow and got a lot of comments a boat better than watermater.
Yes I did get the boat, it came Wednesday, 2 days shipping from the A&N in Vancouver. I set it up Thursday, it looks great Wayne. Well constructed, good welded seams, quality parts etc. I'm very happy with it. The kayak seat works ok but will require some further on water adjustments to get it set up, as they always do. No problem with the oars clearing my knees and my feet are fine on the foot rest strap. I'm so happy I bought your 9' kick boat instead of the 8' one at the Nile Creek Fly Shop! As a big guy, bigger gear is always better for me. Especially for something inflatable that has to support my weight and length! And the quality of your boat is far superior. I'll send pics and a review after my fishing trip. Thanks Wayne!
Very much enjoying the board despite our lousy weather lately. I’d be happy to send a comment/letter for your website, is there a direct link? Have a beautiful day
The board worked awesome
Doing great Wayne Rafts are doing good
The one man kick boat (camo) is the best boat I have ever purchased, it responds so well, easy to pack, inflate and get on the water, even has enough room for my 6 year old in the back to enjoy the ride as well. These are the best boats for fishing and just a lazy day on the water. Thanks Wayne for such a great boat
These FFO270 are so great so much less expensive than your competitor, but just as good in some way even better with the new 4 cm D rings, the slide in aluminum seat and motor mount. Been using mine all summer long, can’t wait till the salmon start running then I’m going to have a blast. Thanks again for such a great deal
It was hard to purchase the FFO270 without actually seeing it in person, but I took a chance and I’m so glad I did, great kick boat, well made, great additional pieces like the motor mount, the aluminum slid in seat, the heaver D rings, the added layer of PVC on the bottom of the boat. Just a great one man boat for the river and lakes, cant’t wait for the steelhead to start appearing.
This is the 3rd boat I have purchased from Bow River Boats, tells you I’m happy with the products and service from Bow River Boats
I’ve been wanting one of these kick boats for years, finally came across Water Predator web site and low and behold found exactly what I wanted. Great price. Bow River Boats sent the boat to me the next day and after opening the box and setting the boat up I WAS so happy with the purchase, excellent quality, thick PVC, great welded seams. NOTHING wrong with the boat, so glad I found the website. Looking forward to getting out on the water and trying it out
Yes, everyone that saw the boat asked me questions about it and liked what they saw. It was "overshadowed" a bit by the glitz of my buddy's fancy Scadden Detonator Lo Pro but when I said mine is half the cost , most were impressed. They liked how big and light it is and that it packs down and fits in the camper or a big plastic tote.
On the river in the estuary a couple of guys liked that I could pull over in 2 feet if water, stand up and cast without getting out of the boat. When they saw that I was using the stripping basket, they thought that was pretty cool!
People also liked that the company is Canadian and can purchase from Army and Navy online. Do you have any promo stickers you can send me? I'll put one on the camper and some on my gear tubs.
I'm off to another north VI river and beach, I can't wait to launch it off the beach and easily get over to wherever the fish are instead of driving and hiking into that beach.
I love the boat Wayne and had lots of comments and questions from fellow anglers. One of my campsites was opposite the campground bathroom and garbage, a high traffic area. I put the boat out at the end of my campsite, almost everyone who walked by stopped to take a look. One guy was so excited about it he was going to Army and Navy Online to order one right from his campsite!
First time out with the kick boat on the Vedder. Got into a few Coho & took 1 home. Was able to fish holes you normally can't walk to. Had way too much fun. Thanks Wayne for everything.
